Den avvikande meningen is a classroom based performance about fascism. The audience is invited to follow its development from the French Revolution to the birth of fascism in 1919 and onwards through the turbulence of the 20th century.
The performance provides the audience with the tools to identify and understand fascism. It explores whether the ideology disappeared with the collapse of the Third Rich, or if it still exists and continues to affect society today.
Den avvikande meningen also searches for traces of fascism in our time and guides the audience through confusing ‘isms’ and concepts.
Two actors from Regionteater Väst performed the play at high schools in Västra Götaland in the Autumn of 2015.
