One of them was Marwan Arkawi. Through this performance, the audience is given a unique insight into his journey.<\/p>\n<p><em>Det levda bakl\u00e4nges<\/em> makes use of Virtual Reality-glasses, 3D-sound and a personal encounter in an attempt to make the arcane comprehensible. It becomes a modern drama in two acts: in the first act, the audience sees the world through the eyes of Marwan; in the second act, they meet him in a live encounter.<\/p>\n<p><em>Det levda bakl\u00e4nges<\/em> is about the different spaces of asylum and the personal story that the audience experiences through those who seek asylum. The performance is based on interviews and testimonies from men and women who have applied for a residence permit in Sweden, solicitors who have worked with the cases, and interpreters and administrators at the Department of Immigration.
