In ALAE \u00d6rjan Andersson continues to dissect and confront iconic works of music with movement derived from close-knit collaborations with his current ensemble. The work is based on three Beethoven sonatas, illuminating them in a new way through clashes and encounters with the moving body. A grand piano is the centrepiece for the visuality of the evening, which together with the four performers alters the audiovisual and visual space created for movement. The work is a continuation of 20 years of ongoing research into the relationship between live music and movement which has defined the work of Andersson Dance. <br><strong>Duration: <\/strong>90 minutes with intermission. <br><br><strong>ABOUT PER TENGSTRAND <\/strong><br>Per Tengstrand was born in 1968 in V\u00e4xj\u00f6 He began playing the piano at age 6 with his mother as a teacher. He then went on to study at the Malm\u00f6 Academy of Music and the Paris Conservatory, where he graduated with a Premier Prix, Premier Nomm\u00e9. His teachers were Hans P\u00e5lsson, Dominique Merlet, Romuald Sztern and Dominique Weber.
