Swedish Performing Arts Coalition is the country\u2019s largest member organization for the Swedish performing art sector and is a national competence center to promote professional performing arts domestically and abroad and the Swedish Centre for International Theatre Institute, ITI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We represent the art form nationally and internationally and is a voice for our members in the cultural policy and is in dialogue with the governmental agencies and decision makers locally and nationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every other year we present The Swedish Biennial for Performing Arts, which is Sweden\u2019s largest performing arts festival and meeting for the performing arts sector. The biennial is presented in different cities in Sweden in close co-operation with the performing arts sector. We also present Swedstage, a showcase with the very best of Swedish performances ready to tour internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our members are Swedish institutions and organizations that work professionally within the performing arts. All members appoints a representative to the Council that meets twice a year. The Council elects the Board of Directors, Education Committee and working groups.
