Meet Nils Jonsson, the legendary fiddler from J\u00e4mtland whose tunes still resonate among folk musicians in Sweden. This performance, rich in music and dance, transports us to a bygone J\u00e4mtland, where parish Lapps, crofters, and landowners exist alongside angels and devils. At the edge of D\u00f6da fallet, a battle unfolds between heaven and hell\u2014for the fiddler\u2019s soul, for sin, redemption, and the right to music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of Estrad Norr\u2019s most ambitious productions, this genre-blending dream play brings together actors, dancers, and musicians. After its world premiere in 2023 and a revival in 2024, it will take the stage for the final time in the summer of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
