{"id":10870,"date":"2015-11-11T16:22:31","date_gmt":"2015-11-11T15:22:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/teaterunionen.se\/?p=10870"},"modified":"2016-02-19T14:51:52","modified_gmt":"2016-02-19T13:51:52","slug":"creative-force-in-russia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scensverige.se\/en\/blog\/2015\/11\/11\/creative-force-in-russia\/","title":{"rendered":"Creative force in Russia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Georgia,Palatino;\">Together with the Pskov Drama Theatre, in the city of Pskov Russia, we have been granted a two-year creative force grant from the Swedish Institute to continue our work in different ways to spread the Swedish performing arts in Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Georgia,Palatino;\">Within the framework of our cooperation, four Swedish plays has been translated into Russian by Maria Ludkovskaja; <em>The hundred we are<\/em> by Jonas Hassen Khemiri, <em>The Writers<\/em> by Alejandro Leiva Wenger, <em>My true selves<\/em> by Erik Uddenberg and <em>The Girl, the Mother and the Rubbish<\/em> by Erik Uddenberg.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Georgia,Palatino;\"> Together with our partners in Russia, we arranged the \u201cSwedish week in Pskov\u201d in March 2015. During this week, four Swedish companies, Unga Klara, Backa Teater, Poster Restante and Claire Parsons Co., visited the city and presented performances, film screenings, readings, workshops and seminars.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Georgia,Palatino;\">During the Swedish Biennial for Performing Arts in Malm\u00f6 May 2016, the formed artistc director of Pskov Drama Theatre Mr Vasily Senin participated and shared his experiences of working with performing arts in Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Georgia,Palatino;\">In December 2015 Alexandrinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg will host a reading of Alejandro Leiva Wenger\u2019s <em>The Writers<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Georgia,Palatino;\">Our purpose with the cooperation is to start a dialogue between the different operators of the performing arts life in Sweden and Russia.
