PMS:IUS / Kamraterna
In the summer of 2023, the independent opera company Kamraterna performed the production PMS:ius at Reimers Hotel in Stockholm. The audience was invited to a bar setting where they could enjoy a beer or a Bloody Mary while experiencing an emotionally charged musical drama about the agony of suffering from PMS symptoms. The performance was 50 minutes long and presented in Swedish.
At the Scenkonstbiennalen, PMS:ius will be presented by composer Corinne von Dardel, librettist Alma Lindé, and director Sara Ribbenstedt, with excerpts performed by pianist Matilda Lindholm and singer Caspar Lindahl. The production will go on tour in 2026 and 2027.
