Exclusive drop of the first Swedstage Stockholm production!

Mark your calendar — Swedstage Stockholm returns

Stockholm, October 2026. Four days. Swedish performing arts, tour-ready and world-facing.

Scensverige — The Swedish Performing Arts Coalition (SPAC) invites international agents, festival programmers, and artistic directors to join us in Stockholm on October 13–16, 2026 for the next edition of Swedstage Stockholm: our curated showcase of Swedish productions ready to travel.

What is Swedstage Stockholm?

Swedstage Stockholm is SPAC’s international export showcase, a meeting point between the strongest Swedish performing arts and the international presenters actively looking for their next touring production. The works you encounter here are chosen for their artistic ambition and their capacity to travel: technically adaptable, aesthetically resonant, and built for stages beyond Sweden’s borders.

We select a limited number of productions, across theatre, dance and performance that combine artistic excellence with tour-readiness. This is a showcase designed for those who want to leave with agreements signed, as well as those who wish to get more acquainted with these artists.

An invitation to international programmers

Are you a festival director, presenter, or artistic programmer with an appetite for innovative and urgent performing arts? Swedstage Stockholm 2026 is built for you.

Across four days, we offer:

  • Curated performances — a selection of the strongest Swedish productions ready for international touring
  • Direct access to artists and producers
  • Networking opportunities in one of Scandinavia’s leading performing arts city.
  • Structured meetings with artists and producers

The first production to reveal is Faye Driscoll´s “flesh chariots – chariots of flesh” by Sweden´s most acclaimed dance company, Cullberg!

The multi-award-winning, New York based choreographer Faye Driscoll has been described as a wild, idiosyncratic postmodern talent. She is now creating her first collaboration with Cullberg — a contemporary dance performance for all senses, featuring fifteen dancers.
