See what happens when you don’t keep your promises!

Every Saturday, Bobo packs her bag and goes to stay with her dad at Adelsgatan fifty-two/52– along with her cuddly toys Ape and Bunny. Her dad, or daddy, promises to take her to the moon. And did that happen? No. Then daddy promises to take her to Bollnäs, to see granny. And did that happen? No. After daddy’s promises and promises and promises and promises – Bobo puts her foot down…

Following her success with My Mum is a Dragon, Pija Lindenbaum’s magical world is back at the Royal Swedish Opera. This time with a story created exclusively for the stage. A story about parents who make promise after promise – but prioritise other things. Behind the libretto, set and costume design of När Då Då is Pija herself. It is directed by Kajsa Giertz, with a score written by Niklas Brommare.
