Wednesday May 24, 10:00-10:45Two senior Swedish Critics present some guidelines to Swedish performing arts, both historically and focusing the selected performances of the Swedish Biennial for Performing Arts. Lis Hellström Sveningson and Margareta Sörenson combine theatre and dance criticism as well as writing on theatre for young audiences. They invite the international guests to share their views and to have an open conversation around the conditions of today for the stage arts.

Lis Hellström Sveningson is a member of the selecting jury of the Swedish Biennial for Performing Arts and works for the regional daily paper Göteborgs-Posten, Margareta Sörenson writes for daily national evening paper Expressen, and is global president of the International Association of Theatre Critics, IATC.
