This performative lecture invites us to reflect on the relevance of today’s performative practices in our society. How do they generate diverse perspectives and knowledge about subtle dimensions and the body in an age often described as apocalyptic?
Can we achieve collective emancipation and human potential through these visions and archives of possible ancestral-future knowledges that propose a more tactile and sensitive relationship with the world?
Practices for the Future is developed by DanceRemainings and was part of the 2024 summer exhibition at Röda Sten Konsthall, Göteborg, where performative practices were shared with the public over 11 weeks.
